For my photos, I plan to use a teenage girl on my front cover so that she fits in with the intended target audience for my magazine. The girl will need to be wearing a party outfit of some sort or beach wear so that she fits in with the ‘pop’ genre theme of my magazine. Other photographs I will include in my magazine will be images such as groups of friends together and a girl who is sitting on her own for the feature article “My First Gig Nightmare” which I plan to do so the magazine will also have a serious side to it.
Props may be used such as a beach ball, towel or balloons to create the beach party look I would like to include on my magazine cover. I may also choose to have a more sophisticated look to the model as my magazine social class is D, C1, and C2.
The setting would have to be ‘fun-looking’ so that the girl looks as if she is enjoying life and aspires to be a famous pop artist in the future. This I believe is what my target audience would be like and look like so they can relate to the model on the cover if she is dressed and acts the same way as they do.
The location where the photos will be taken will depend on the weather as on the beach would be a good place as it fits in with the theme however inside a house or in a garden could also work just as well.
