Male: 10%
Women: 90%
Band: C1C2D 75%
Age: 16-24

The type of music magazine I have chosen to do is a ‘pop music’ magazine. From this I have discovered that the demographic profile of my target audience for my magazine will be predominantly female and will be between the ages of 16 and 24. The majority of my audience will be single as they are a young audience and will have a social class of C1C2D. This is because some of my target audience will come from a middle classed family, so they will be lower middle classed but will still aspire to be like the women featured in the magazine.

In terms of the psychographics, my target audience will be aspirers as they will want to live the luxury lifestyle of the women they read about in the magazine.

In terms of their appearance my target audience would have stylish clothes but would be more likely to shop in lower priced clothes shops as oppsosed to designer clothes shops because they are likely to have a lower paid job such as a hairdresser/beautician or if not be studying at a college.
